Precalculus II is a continuation of the rigorous functions-based study began in precalculus I. Topics include: trigonometric functions, rational functions, parametric curves, vectors, and polar coordinates and curves. Each area will be explored algebraically, numerically, graphically, and verbally. Collaborative learning and mathematical thinking will be emphasized. A graphing calculator is required for the course. Students who successfully complete precalculus I and precalculus II will be prepared for calculus. A graphing calculator is required for the course.Â
