Ìý

The purpose of this series of courses is to offer exploratory and entry-level interdisciplinary studies for students seeking to work and pursue more advanced studies in the following fields: Community Studies, Environmental Studies, Public Health, Government, Law and Public Policy, Sociology, Cultural and Media Studies, and Early Childhood Education.

Ìý

ÌýDuring the fall, our studies will delve into the connections between global and local contexts, examining social, environmental, and economic factors that influence communities and individuals. We will also consider actions that have broader implications at both local and global levels. Coursework will involve reflecting on one's connection to the larger global community and the interconnectedness of people and issues worldwide. Additionally, students will write a memoir that articulates how these connections manifest in their personal lives.
